T-Bed type Milling & Boring Machines
Because of their sturdiness and precision the machines with a T-Bed configuration are particularly suitable for processing large, heavy, compact pieces, which demand:
A considerable load-bearing capacity of the rotary traverse table without influencing the alignment of the machine's geometry, since the table is only connected to the machine by means of the foundation structure.
A considerable power available for rough-machining operations, which can consequently done much more quickly.
High positioning precision and repeatability, using CNC, for the fine-finishing operations thanks to the frictionless hydrostatic guides.
T-Bed machines can be configured with a single table up to 2,000 x 2,000mm or an FMS style palletised table system with a maximum table size of 1,600 x 2,000mm.
Head stocks come in at a robust 410 x 505mm square cast monolith with the option of up to 1,000 mm of reach. The spindle has the option of a quill type arrangement extending the reach by a further 700mm.
Consistent power is available up to 3,000 rpm with massive torque peaking at 2,600 Nm.
