Order win underlines latest advances in surface cleaning technology
The securing of an order for a Pero high speed vapour degreasing machine has underlined the success of a recent series of industry workshops organised by cleaning systems specialist Kumi Solutions in conjunction with Safechem and equipment manufacturer Pero.
During the events, more than 60 attendees learned how to achieve top quality surface cleaning results while complying with latest legal and environmental requirements. Seminar sessions
highlighted topics as varied as users’ and suppliers’ legal obligations, safe and sustainable cleaning methods, risk management, solvent selection and optimisation, and the latest cleaning technology developments - not only enabling customers to fulfil an EU Solvents Emissions Directive (SED) requirement of investigating the use of reduced risk solvents, wherever possible, but also learning how they can continue to employ trichloroethylene on a long term basis.
